Themis - Short Atlas
Who is short which companies, across 31 markets
Themis is a private market-intelligence dashboard (also known as the Short Disclosures Monitor) that shows who is betting against which companies across 31 markets.
It collects official short-selling data from regulators and exchanges and puts it on one screen: about 4,300 open named short positions held by 288 funds, and 50,000+ securities covered in total.
Coverage by data type
- Named holders (who is short, and how much): Germany, France, Sweden, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Poland, Ireland, Iceland and Japan (JPX). The Korea Exchange (KRX) lists holders without sizes.
- Aggregate short interest and net short: FINRA, CIRO, SFC, ASIC, SET, FCA, TASE, Tadawul and KRX.
- Proxies where no short register exists: lending and margin balances from TWSE, SSE/SZSE, JPX, B3 and SEIBro/KOFIA; daily short-sale volume from NSE, SGX, BIST and FINRA Reg SHO; fails-to-deliver from the SEC.
What it does: change, percentile and z-score signals; price confirmation; screeners; long-versus-short margin netting with direction signals (China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea); and a series explorer with formulas.
Access is by request: the dashboard sits behind a sign-in and the Korea Exchange data policy requires authorisation. Contact [email protected].
